If you've got a bone to pick with someone, you've come to the right place. Rodolphus the best in the business of ending lives, and he takes pleasure in his work. The day isn't over unless his suit and hands are covered in blood ━━ and don't worry, nothing goes to waste here. What else are dogs good for, anyway?
As the eldest child in the Lestrange family, Rodolphus was raised to value his blood purity over anything else. Money, vanity, and women all come in close for second, but family ties always reign true. Whether he's out working with his brother, Rabastan, or trying to knock some sense into his sister-in-law, Andromeda, his life revolves around his family and their lineage as purebloods.

BELLATRIX LESTRANGE
Rodolphus and Bellatrix are not a match made in heaven.
Ever since Rodolphus was a boy, he was taught that women are good for two things: housekeeping and childbearing. All he wanted out of a wife was someone who would shut up, clean the house, and produce a son for him. Bellatrix, unfortunately, never became that.
They married due to their parents' wishes, and Rodolphus found himself unsatisfied in most parts of their relationship. Bellatrix was talkative, and she was quick to anger him. Rodolphus never thought she was pretty, and had always preferred Narcissa and Andromeda. She wasn't like the women he was used to, but instead more prude and unwilling in bed. They spent most of their time for several years on opposite ends of the house, only coming together for mealtimes and to sleep.
After Bellatrix joined the Dark Lord's ranks, they finally had something to do together. The only times that they are content with each other are when they are on missions together, and similarly, those are the only times when Rodolphus finds his wife attractive. Often, they murder mudbloods and muggles together, and they take the bodies home for Bellatrix to prepare and feed to the hounds. It is a dirty job, but together, they get the job done better than anyone else.
Daily life, however, is a struggle. Whenever Rodolphus finds himself annoyed by one of Bellatrix's snide remarks, he responds with physical and verbal violence. He understands her strength, but there's nothing like the feeling of a palm against her cheek to get her to be quiet. He takes what he wants, when he wants it, and she obeys in order to do her duty as a wife. When she is angry with him, they argue until she eventually backs down, or Rodolphus gets frustrated and leaves for the pub.
It is no secret to Bellatrix that Rodolphus is unfaithful, and she'd rather him be off with other women than forcing her in bed against her will. Little does she know, Rodolphus has been intimate with people that Bellatrix holds near and dear to her heart - but if she found out, she'd be at the mercy of her husband's bloody hands.
